Every single bank has an app, which is getting more and more necessary to install, though for simple stuff you can still get away with it... yet
Every single office work, govt, private, even tuitions/colleges, there is a webapp for which is more or less getting necessary to have day by day.
Your marks will be on a digitial webapp of your education/body, your certificates are digital and linked to ID, an app to keep those certificates (DigiLocker - present on about every single phone in India)
Every single document you apply for, any government card/paper is now a hybrid process, you HAVE TO apply both digitally and physically. There is a webapp for E V E R Y single thing.
And this is only a transition phase, as I said everything is a hybrid process today, which is likely just a stepping stone for a completely online process tommorow.
And I don't think I've even barely scratched the surface...
PS - I have to apply for a driver's lisence soon, the rules and and stuff which the examiner will ask? I have to download an app for that, and watch a youtube video which lists and explains a lot of stuff.
