Apparently Modi found yet another way to sell out people. Tor is an easy fix for now. It can be banned just as easy, in theory. But will they go as far as sniffing networks like China?

The official arguments are as inane as in the west:

Anyone with half the attention span of a goldfish can still post whatever he wants. It's not that difficult to figure out. Shilling 'free speech' while banning 'free speech' is a hallmark of democracy, apparently. Just give us sentence whitelists already!

Why would a 'hacker' not know how to avoid it or be able to figure out something?

Ah yes, straight from the US playbook. One of the most shallow phrases ever written.

It's India. Let's be real here for a moment. No need to comment.
All it does, as usual, is hurt innocent people. The single 'benefit' of this is abusing people for more power and money.
